Ysgol Calon y Dderwen is a new English-medium, Community Primary School, set in five acres of grounds on the banks of the River Severn in the heart of the picturesque market-town of Newtown, Mid-Wales. The school opened in 2021 following the merger of Ladywell Green Infants School and Hafren Junior School and in September 2025, expanded to include children from Treowen CP School.
